Behind the Scenes: Designing Our First Loungewear Set

We are working on designing a pajama/loungewear set for Triplicity, and the beginning stages can sometimes be the most exciting, because you get to see the design come alive from a tech pack to a mockup for the first time!

(A mockup is when the factory makes the design in test fabric to see if they're getting the patterns correct, and see how it looks in case we want to change anything before making the real sample. The fabric type and color are often not what will end up being used, it's just what they have available in a similar weight/drape.)

These pieces are designed so that together they can be a pair of cozy, luxury pajamas (in a fabric made of plant based fibers, for breathability and comfort) but the goal is that they can also be worn individually as a regular blouse and pant too, because at Triplicity we LOVE to make our pieces versatile and easy to wear.

We are looking forward to seeing the first real sample for these!
